This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment and takes pride in preparing quality food while delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role includes supporting daily café operations, breakfast service for Holiday Inn guests, and preparing meals to a high standard across both café and catering service periods. Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook breakfast, café, and light meal menu items to a high standard
- Support breakfast service for Holiday Inn guests
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation
- Support café and catering service requirements
- Maintain consistency, quality, and portion control across all dishes
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are maintained
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Assist with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Communicate effectively with the wider café and operations team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Contribute positively to a team-focused culture
About YouYou are passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a team environment, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen. You will also bring: - Previous experience as a Cook, Breakfast Cook, Café Cook, or in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong food preparation and short-order cooking skills
- Experience with breakfast service highly regarded
- Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays
