About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cafe All Rounder to join the Milly’s team. As a Café All-Rounder, you’ll support the smooth day-to-day operation of the café by assisting in both the kitchen and customer service areas. Your role will include food preparation, short-order cooking, and delivering a warm, welcoming experience to every customer.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Prepare and deliver high-standard menu items for cafe service and catering
  • Assist with food prep, plating, and presentation

  • Provide friendly, efficient front-of-house customer service

  • Take orders, operate POS systems, and handle payments

  • Prepare coffee and beverages (barista experience desirable but not essential)

  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across the café

  • Ensure consistency and quality in all dishes

  • Manage time efficiently during busy service periods

  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

  • Work collaboratively within a fast-paced kitchen team

About You

You are passionate about food and dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will also have:

  • Experience in a café, hospitality, or fast-paced food environment

  • Confidence working across both kitchen and front-of-house duties

  • Basic cooking or short-order kitchen experience

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude

  • Availability to work early mornings, nights, and weekends

  • Solid knowledge of food safety standards
